Introduction
As our mobile phones age with time, more problems arise. This is when you have to go to a mobile phone repair shop. But, in most cases, our phones suffer common problems that we can attend to on our own.
Without further ado, here are solutions to common mobile phone problems.
Problem #1: Mobile phone is responding slowly.
One of the most common mobile phone problems that people rant about is that phones tend to run slow as the years go by. This happens naturally when our phones age. The root cause of this problem comes from all the files on your phone. This includes all the applications, photos, videos, documents and more. This data clogs up the device’s RAM which slows down the phone’s responding speed.
Solution: Get rid of all the unnecessary applications. Those that you have not used in the past month have got to go. This just means that you don’t need them. This way, you can clear up the cache data in your phone. It should respond better at this state.
Problem #2: Broken mobile phone screen.
Our phone screens are not vulnerable to heavy impact. This is why when they fall or stepped on, the screen tends to crack. There is no other way to go about this but to have it fixed right away. Even if it’s just a small crack, it’s important to have it repaired before it leads to more serious problems.
Solution: You know what they say, prevention is better than cure. When the screen gets cracked, have it fixed as soon as you can. Then, buy a screen protector and use it. It is also best to invest in a very reliable case to keep your entire phone protected at all times.
Problem #3: Poor battery life.
Another common problem that many people experience when it comes to a mobile phone is bad battery performance. Do you ever feel like your phone’s battery is not enough to last the whole day even though you rarely use it? It is such a hassle especially if you need it for an important call or message.
Solution: First thing to do is to remove all applications running the background. You can also turn off GPS, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi when not in use. These wireless connections take up a huge chunk of your phone’s battery. Moreover, you can also use the Battery Saving Mode that is present in most modern-day smartphones.
Problem #4: Phone storage full.
With all the photos, videos and files we save every day, our phone’s storage will eventually be filled. In this generation of smartphone users, storage has been a big issue for most devices. Besides that, you should know that Applications, Downloads, and System Features also take up a huge part of the device.
Solution: Primarily, you can clear up your storage. Delete those old photos and videos from a year ago. Get rid of unused applications and music. Another way to clear up space in your phone is to use another device for storing your precious memories. There are hard drives available or if you are an Apple user, take advantage of the cloud. There are lots of storage options other than your phone’s memory.
Problem #5: Phone overheats all the time.
Overheating is caused by excessive use of the mobile phone. When you transfer from one application to another for an extended period, your phone will heat up eventually.
Solution: Close all running applications in the background and try not to use your device while it is charging. Give your phone and yourself a digital break.
