Google has officially revealed several new features arriving with Android 17, expected to launch around Q2 2026. The update focuses heavily on improving the experience for content creators, video editors, and social media users.
Pixel devices are expected to receive the features first, although Malaysia release dates have not been confirmed yet.
New “Screen Reactions” Feature
One of the biggest highlights is a new built-in feature called Screen Reactions. It allows users to create reaction-style videos directly on their phones without needing:

- Optimised Instagram layout for larger screens
Editing tools are also getting smarter with on-device AI features like audio enhancement and background sound separation.
Adobe Premiere Is Coming to Android
Adobe Premiere is also expected to arrive on Android tablets soon, supporting Advanced Professional Video (APV) technology found on devices like the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra and vivo X300 Ultra.
This could make Android devices much more attractive for mobile editing and professional content creation.
